Do your homework or you might get “Teoed” in the workplace

Due Diligence-Minding your P’s and Q’s-Pay Attention-Stick to your Knitting:

All of these phrases refer to paying attention so that you don’t get caught by surprise or get hoodwinked in your personal life or your work life.

I would like to add a new phrase to the list of ways to be surprised or deceived.

Being Teoed can mean that you are led to believe something that is not true or that you are told something that is so implausible to almost be impossible to believe.

I’ll be back next week with symptoms of what being “Teoed” looks like and we will then discuss how to prevent having this happen to you.
